I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My work applies machine learning across scientific domains, including observational cosmology and medical imaging. I study uncertainty estimation in deep neural networks, and I am also interested in optimization methods for black-box problems, including surrogate-assisted evolutionary strategies.

I am affiliated with the Simons Observatory, where I contribute to computing infrastructure supporting the collaboration’s data processing needs.
